EPCs & Home Energy Scotland Funding

An EPC is always required when applying for Scottish Government funding through Home Energy Scotland.

This EPC shows specific recommendations to improve your property’s energy consumption. So think of this EPC as your funding access ‘passport’.

Once you have an EPC, Home Energy Scotland will advise you about funding for energy improvements.

After energy improvements have been made to any property, another EPC is required. Why is this? The up-to-date EPC shows that improvements have been made to the property’s energy rating. This EPC will allow Home Energy Scotland to release funding.
